Cap'n Hook

Thanks to the great movie Peter Pan, and my husband, Dylan loves playing Captain Hook. He tries to play with anything that even resembles a sword. But his hot wheels tracks are his favorite choice. It hasn't taken Macklee long do figure out how to play and that she get her Daddy's attention when she does. So these are pictures of them playing it makes me giggle I'll have to see if I can upload the video it makes me laugh. Hope you enjoy!

Spring time in near....

I've got tonz of flowers sprouting in my house and I'm so excited to get to maybe finally fill up my flower beds they have been waiting five years now for some new members. The snow is almost gone and it's so fun to be able to go out and play, Mack and Dylan just love being outside. Josh fixed up my Grandma Doney's old bike and it looks great. I have a bike trailer for the kids and they both love going for rides so that has been very nice. Some not so good news Mack is covered in a rash, it's either Rosella or she's allergic to Ammoxacillin, but it doesn't seem to be bothering her too bad. She almost has her first teeth coming threw, it looks like she'll get two at a time just like Dylan did. I bought her these cute sunglasses and she loves wearing them. I hope everyone is having a great St. Patty's day!

Nap Time .... NOT!!

I put Macklee down for her nap today and she decided that she wasn't ready for one so she was just a talking. Dylan says "oh no Mack" and ran upstairs and when I went up I found them playing so funny. Dylan and the witch hat I have no idea but he was 'fixing' his ride, and was pretty proud of himself. What silly kids I have. I love that Dylan has been playing with Macklee, sharing and giving her toys when she is crying. Macklee is attempting to crawl but still doesn't quite have the idea yet, but hopefully it will come soon, she wants to play and run with Dylan so bad. Hope you enjoy the pictures!!!

Macklee and her Baby

This is a very rare moment. Aunt Kori bought her this doll for christmas and she I really hate to say it would rather play with Dylan's cars. She is so very silly. Although she laughs at the baby and has started talking to it, it so very cute. Dylan on the other hand thinks that the baby is his. The baby always needs her hat on it's head and Macklee poking it's eyes and eating her hands isn't acceptable. So very funny! Thanks sister Kori for the doll, I'm sure in time it'll be her favorite, and not just for chewing on.

Christmas 2010

Our Christmas was wonderful. This was our first year of staying home in the morning and it was so nice to just relax. Everyone was spoiled. Dylan of course was up at 3:30 am and if any of you know me, I know this is pathetic, but of course I was up when he came down...yeah I only slept for maybe an hour and a half that night. I know I'm worse then my kids. But needless to say I had a loverly nap at 7:30 and Josh and Dylan were out at 9:00 and Mack woke up around 11 so we were all done with our naps when she got up. It was very nice to be able to nap at 7:30 am. Dylan got all sorts of 'CARS' He is a Cars freak! And he's still loving them. Mack got a little piano that she loves to play and tub toys! Josh got a whole new woodworking shop. I got my book that I've been wanting and some thermometers and a lovely new bird feeder and some scrapbooking stuff. Macklee has now learned to roll over FINALLY!!! I've been waiting for a few months. She's been sitting up for a while but not rolling over but she has gone both ways now. SHe loves cruising in the walker and chases Dylan around and she loves when Dylan pushes her chasing one of the boys. Hoping for a great year for us and everyone!

Macklee Kim

So here are the pictures that you have all been waiting for. Macklee Kim was born at 7:15 pm on Monday June 28, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She is changing everyday and brings a joy to our house. She is now 3 1/2 weeks old and last we weighed her she was 7 lbs 8 oz a week ago. There are also some pictures of some bows I made for her to wear. We did them at Relief Society this afternoon at the park. Thanks to Gina Denton for all of her help, without her I wouldn't have a clue what to do. Hope you enjoy!!

Baby Animal Days

I know I know it's been FOREVER!!! Hey I have a good reason at least. Josh and I took Dylan to baby animal days this spring and he had a blast! Of course his favorites were the baby chicks, and of course the Train. We were standing in line ready to ride and we were the last people and there wasn't room for us, so as the train started rolling away Dylan started crying for the train to come back and get him. It was so cute he was so heart broken, and we kept telling him that we would get to ride next, he finally calmed down. When we got on he was so excited and he just kept saying Choo-Choo. Then came the next break down getting off the train. He didn't want to do anything after that, he just wanted to ride the train, so Josh and I looked around, then we got back on the train and then we headed home. It was great!!! I think he really enjoyed himself. Also in the slideshow is Dylan making a muddy mess in his sandbox. I'm still not sure where the water came from but he was having a GREAT time!!

Easter!!!

Dylan was not feeling tip top for most of Easter, until we started the egg hunt about 3:30 in the afternoon. But he did love coloring easter eggs and he loved the bubble gun he got from the Easter bunny. He chased Freeman around with it, so funny to watch. During the egg hunt he found out that there was candy in the eggs or 'tee' as he calls candy and would crack everyone of them open and dump the candy into his basket and throw the eggs away. Then after he had his fair share I guess he decided he didn't need the candy until later and burried it in his sand pile....He learns way to much from the boys.

Spring Time!!!

I know although there's snow out there now, there wasn't just yesterday, but Dylan loves being outside. Josh and I decided to grill up some ribs on the grill and we had some fruit, and mushrooms it was delish! Dylan loves playing outside specially when him and Dad play ball. He has know started to go and get our shoes for us when he wants to go out, or go anywhere for that matter. He stands at the door and yells Mom!! Shoes!! and if you don't come and put them on he will bring them to you, lift up your feet, and put them on for you. Not always on right either might I add but he sure tries hard. He's getting to be quite the little chatter box as well, he's talking very well!

Her First Pictures!

Okay so these are actually the second pictures but in the 10 week ones we didn't know that she was a she. BIG SURPRISE! But we are getting more fond of the idea of having a girl, except I HATE pink. And for any of those of you who have little girls know that EVERYTHING IS PINK!!!! I love purple, red, yellow, and they have nothing in those colors it's just pink! Do they think everyone wants pink? People these days, but anyway, she is right on schedule they said she's measuring to the day, Dylan was actually about a week bigger then he should have been at this point and he was still a week late, so hopefully this one comes on time. The tech said that she was beautiful, and everything was where it was supposed to be. He also said that she was doing everything that he needed her to do, she would move just right for him and wouldn't shy away when we were getting pictures of her face. It is still the craziest thing to see them do the ultra sound and know that it's inside of you just hanging out. Hope you enjoy!

Curious George!

I haven't blogged FOREVER but it's not my fault! Dylan broke my other camera so I didn't have anything to take pictures with. But Josh being the loving husband he is got me one for Christmas. I have to admit it's weird, not like my old one. But I took these pictures of Dylan doing his new favorite thing. Watching George! He is a George freak!! That's what he does when he wakes up and that's what he wants when he is ready for bed. It's so funny. Just to get you updated Dylan is now in his big boy room, he loves it especially the 'pop pops' Josh and I had some lava lamps and boy do they make the coolest things to watch. Cheap entertainment! Gotta love it! This week he has decided that he can't let his mom go to work at 5:30 in the morning by herself. He hears my alarm and comes into our room ready to let the boys out to pee, and for George to be turned on. Josh isn't impressed. Along with this he has started not thinking that big boys need a nap. So on the mornings I don't work or wake up before the alarm goes off, he won't nap. I don't know what to do with him, he's a stinker. Last night at 6 he was trying to fall asleep, so I sat him on the floor and we played for a little bit, but all he wanted to do was sit on my lap and watch George. So knowing that he should not be going to be that early, we got in the tub for 2 hours. We were both very wrinkled, but clean! He is so silly!

HALLOWEEN ! ! !

Dylan's second Halloween was a blast and I have to say he is much better this year the day after then he was last. I had the original idea to make him into a panda bear, but Josh thought that it would be so hard to get his make-up on and for him not to play with it. So we decided to make him a zombie, and I have to say he was the most adorable zombie I had ever seen. He loved going to the family, he took LOTS of treats and liked the idea of putting it in his pumpkin, after he realized that he still got to eat it. After we were done trick-or-treating we drove past the Halloween lights just a little ways away from our house, for our last look of the season. I took Dylan there almost EVERY night if he was good. It was a blast!
Here are some pictures of us carving pumpkins, Dylan would only eat the seeds. And of course his costume.

Dylan loves the dirt!

Dylan loves to play outside in the dirt. And I always keep the door open so he can run in and out freely. Well the other day he came in and I wasn't sure if it was him or not but after we took pictures and got the face washed off there was that precious smile.

Happy 1st Birthday Dylan!

So this is about a month late, but we've been so busy, so here it is. Dylan had a great first birthday and he was so good. The day started with a parade, then to the park for the booths, and then a great nap. Which let Mom and Dad catch up on stuff the party. Then we had a great cookout, hotdogs, and salad. Then Presents! Dylan loved to open his tonka truck, given by Uncle Caleb and Uncle Wes. Thanks guys he loves it! And he also was spoiled by both Grandparents. Josh and I gave him a pool, and a hoop to go in it. Aunt RoseAnne gave him the best building blocks ever! He love his birthday. So what was left but the cake of course. It had a four wheeler on it, he loves to play with. We gave him a piece and he did not eat a single crumb of it. Nothing went in his mouth. He started with the frosting, and it was all over his hands then straight to his hair. Not only did he continue to rub it in then he rubbed it all over his chest. Silly boy! Dylan I love you and you are such a great boy. I hope you had a great birthday!

Dylan's First Haircut

Dylan was such a brave little boy. He didn't cry or anything. Josh sat with him and the clippers letting him study them, and then it was in his high chair with his cape on and it was cutting time. He just kept trying to look at Josh while he was cutting his hair, so I gave him a sucker, his very first sucker! It was almost gone by the time we were done. He looks so big a grown up now, he's adorable.

He Can WALK ! !

I haven't blogged for a while so make sure that you check all of my new entries. I had a few spare minutes since I've been home all day on pain killers, I had my wisdom teeth pulled. But here it is the moment that I've been waiting for. . . . . DYLAN CAN WALK! He took his first step at 10 months and 2 weeks old. I think that is a very big accomplishment. And boy if he wants to cruise he will. He still crawls on and off, hasn't gone to straight walking yet. This video is outside on the very uneven grass and he has his new favorite ball. With of course puppies on it. What else could a little boy ask for? He does so good, I am so very proud of him!
